Special note on viewing this issue: the techniques used by the contributors necessitate the usage of several different typefaces and fontsizes due to the limitations of transforming word processing files into html web code and depending on the kind of computer and monitor you, as the viewer, have and also on how you happen to have set your fontsize: the visual spacing of the words may be somewhat different than the original (if you notice such skewing try adjusting the size of your font as per the link to the "fontsize" instructions at the top of this--and every-- webpage) for this anthology website, the html code is set for the "average" computer -- that is, a pc with a normal size monitor using the default fontsizes with a FULL SIZE WINDOW -- but even if you use a full size window on a large screen your font may be changing the visuals--also note that Apple computers have a different pixel setup which is another factor also note that some of the visually unusual works in this issue are based on the "concrete" format of a normal sized "typed page" --the webpage accomodates this by extra spacing which appears between what would be the "typed pages" (normally of course being 8 1/2 by 11 inches) this anthology was arbitrarily divided into three equally sized large sections for ease of fast loading only -- in a printed book they would be as one -- the next page may be opened by clicking on the mule below |
